Finally on our way home from a long road trip to GA, SC and NC! Lots of adventures competing with Kyber and Rebel and teaching for Achieve Agility in the beautiful mountains. Thank you Annette Alfonso for inviting me and getting me started on the plans for this mad dash I had a great time working with your students and I hope they got some good insight on all the topics. Wish we had some time for kayaks and hikes but something to do next time. We started the trip at Tiger GA at an incredibly beautiful facility, for a UKI trial hosted by Full Speed Agility. It was a LOVELY trial, a gorgeous site, and an incredibly well run event. The club had some great incentives for workers and kept a fun and happy atmosphere, and kept things moving great! All I saw and heard were smiles and laughs all around, it really was a wonderful event to be a part of and I loved every minute of it. I only ran Kyber as Rebel has both of her UKI Byes already and running two dogs does not come cheap – LOL!
Ashley Anderson had such absolutely lovely and fun fast courses that I really wish I had entered both. Ashley, your course design is clever and just plain fun, great nesting (and yet totally different course and challenges each time), with great lines that saw dogs and handlers FLYING! I LOVED how much space we had in that ring and how well you kept things going and ran your ring! Kyber came out of each run with a huge smile I had always loved showing under you in USDAA, and will search you out in UKI as well. I could go on and on…Fun fun fun!!!!!
Apparently it’s not that common to see a Pegasus Pony out in the wild, and when he is the last dog of the day and is running in this wide open fast track of a course, it’s cause for celebration! Lol!!!! Seriously though, sometimes it’s fun to be the very last dog of the weekend and it was awesome to hear people cheering us along! Thanks Ashley Anderson for such a lovely Beginner Novice Speedstakes Course! My Kyber found his WINGS!!!!!!
