Online / Remote Classes Video Tips

A lot of people have asked about how to properly take video and post on the class page. Here are some product ideas and instructions on how to upload to YouTube (instructions would be similar for any video sharing website you would like to use).

STABILIZE YOUR VIDEO, USE A TRIPOD

The easiest way to video your exercises would be to use your smartphone video camera and upload to a video sharing site. We use a tripod with a cell phone holder adapter bought online from amazon, but there are plenty of options in stores like best buy, five below, even Walgreens. Here are some ideas:

UPLOAD YOUR VIDEO

The most popular video sharing site right now is YouTube. There are many others like Vimeo and Dailymotion.

Most videos can be uploaded directly from your phone into your YouTube account. Choose to make the video UNLISTED so that you can share the link with the class but keep it away from other public videos on YouTube.

COPY VIDEO LINK AND PASTE ON CLASS COMMENTS

When you are done uploading the video, it will give you an URL or link to your video. Copy this link by selecting all of the link, right clicking and choosing copy (or in Windows with your keyboard press CTRL + C ). This should copy the link to memory. Then, in the class page comments, just PASTE the link by right clicking and choosing paste (or in Windows with your keyboard press CTRL + V).

Hope this helps and see you online!
